Open and personal: At the BAUR Group, we treat each other as friends and meet as equals - even during the application process. We would therefore be pleased if we were on first-name terms with each other.
First of all: We look forward to every single application we receive and look at all of them very carefully. But: We are friends of the Internet, after all, the BAUR Group earns its money in online retail. That's why it's best to apply directly online via our job advertisements - without any paperwork and without having to go to the post office. This is good for the environment, doesn't cost you any postage and saves us time, because we have your documents available digitally right away.
We think there are areas where a cover letter is not absolutely necessary, e.g. if you want to apply as an employee for our logistics department. However, if you want to apply for a position in our Corporate Communications department, for example, a cover letter is an advantage to get to know your writing style.
Unsure? Don't drive yourself crazy. If we're missing any documents, we'll get in touch and you can simply submit them later.
If you feel like it, we'll give you a tour of the department after the interview so you can get an idea of what your new desk and your new colleagues might look like.
Long journey? No problem! We are also happy to hold meetings via video call. This saves time and money, but is at least as exciting for you as a live interview on site. Here are a few tips to get your video interview off to a good start:
